Job Description

Performs flux core welding on fabricated components in accordance with established welding procedures and quality requirements. Job Requirements 2+ years of flux core welding experience. Experience with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW). Ability to successfully complete a welding test. Preferred Skills Experience welding structural steel or heavy fabricated components. Experience reading welding symbols, fabrication drawings, or blueprints. Experience performing visual inspection of completed welds. Job Responsibilities Perform flux core welding on fabricated components. Set up welding equipment according to applicable welding procedures. Prepare materials and joints for welding. Complete welds according to specified requirements. Inspect completed welds for visible defects or discontinuities. Perform required welding tests and qualification activities. Maintain welding equipment and work areas according to applicable safety and production requirements.
