Position Summary:

Assists the various departments of the company in the welding and fabrication of equipment, tools, and facilities in support of production.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Shop or Welding classes or certifications are a plus. Strong background in welding all types of materials and in all position types. Must be familiar with set-up, lay out and welding with torch and plasma arc. Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Required. Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Set-up lay out and execution of welding and fabrication jobs. Accurately and promptly logging all work completed. Maintaining a neat and clean work area, free from hazards. Following all health and safety requirements, in addition to complying with all company policies.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Welds safely and in accordance with recognized good welding practices. Able to set up machines and fabrication jobs. Welds aluminum, steel, and stainless steel in Flat, Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead positions. Must have tools for the work that include a hood, chipper, hammer, wrenches, pry bars, punches, socket sets and lay-out equipment. Must be capable of donning personal protective equipment required in the function of the work. Mechanically incline Hours of operation would be 12:00PM to 9:30pm Sunday to Thrusday
