3G and 4G preferred. Maneuver units into position for installation and anchor the units. Fabricate or alter parts using shears, hammers, punches, or drills. Assist foreman with proper layout for work to be put in place. Accurately measure and read height, width, length, and other proportions with a tape measure Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and lasers to ensure everything is level and secure. Work at heights with several elevated platforms. Keep work area clean and productive. Always exercise the proper use of PPE. Set up and safely use company equipment. Maintain welding certification through maintenance logs and supervisor observation.
Qualifications Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Participation in a secondary or post-secondary trade curriculum. 1+ year experience with stick welding. Field carpentry experience preferred. Knowledge and understanding of construction safety devices and PPE.
