Job Description
Role Details This is a 90-day temp-to-hire position located in Zelienople, offering a pay rate between $23 and $24 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daylight hours, with benefits becoming available once the probationary period is completed. About the Position We are looking for a committed and talented Welder to become part of our Zelienople, PA operations. Core Duties Execute welding operations utilizing MIG, TIG, and stick methods. Analyze technical drawings and blueprints to accurately identify project requirements. Verify the integrity of welds to ensure they meet established quality benchmarks. Keep all welding machinery and hand tools in optimal operational status. Work alongside colleagues to help the team achieve production targets and timelines. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by adhering to all safety guidelines. Support the development of new staff by sharing professional best practices. Required Qualifications Completion of high school or a GED, with vocational training considered a benefit. Demonstrated history of welding work within construction or manufacturing settings. Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and various welding methodologies. Ability to interpret complex technical documents and blueprints effectively. Utilize your sharp attention to detail to resolve technical issues as they arise. Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective communication and collaboration. Possession of a welding certification is considered an advantage. Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is required. Technical Proficiencies Configuring welding equipment for manufacturing tasks. Interpreting technical blueprints.
