Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator specializing in TIG welding to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality stainless equipment, supporting various projects across construction, manufacturing, and fabrication environments. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welding of metal components. Perform TIG welding on various metal materials such as steel, aluminum, and other alloys in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Use measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances during fabrication processes. Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Fabricate sheet metal components through precise cutting, bending, and assembly processes using shop math and mechanical knowledge. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times during fabrication shop activities. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving mechanical fabrication, welding, machining, and installation on construction sites or in the shop. Qualifications Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret mechanical blueprints accurately. Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools for precise fabrication work. Mechanical knowledge of metal materials including sheet metal fabrication techniques. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, machining equipment safely while maintaining quality standards. Knowledge of AWS standards for welding practices combined with shop math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Experience working with various metals materials in a manufacturing or fabrication setting; prior construction site experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
