Job Type:
Full-time Starting Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour •All pay and promotion decisions are performance-based•
A SHIFT:
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Expected hours: No less than 40 hours per week
B SHIFT:
Tuesday through Thursday, 5:00 pm - 5:00 am (10% Shift differential) Expected hours: No less than 36 hours per week •Punctuality and attendance are key• About us Kelley Engineering is a premier engineering and manufacturing company serving a broad customer base across the southeast. This fast-growing company specializes in designing and building custom automation equipment as well as providing CNC machining and metal fabrication services to a variety of industries including: aerospace, automotive, ceramics, injection molding, medical, packaging, tires, and general manufacturing. The
MIG & TIG
welder will weld and assemble various metal pieces by using handheld welding equipment.
Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and drawings to determine part specifications. Perform MIG welding on various metal components using the appropriate equipment and tools. Checks products against specifications and conformance standards. Follows specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints. Completes work by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning parts. Perform minor machine maintenance. Perform quality inspection on all parts. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
Qualifications:
Experience as a MIG Welder preferred. Ability to work on different types of metal. Self-motivated. On-time and reliable. Ability to read blueprints. Knowledge of standard and metric measurements. Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
