Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role involves working in a manufacturing facility, where you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds and ensuring adherence to safety standards and specifications. Duties Perform MIG and Tig welding on various material types and thicknesses including sheet metal. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute fabrication tasks effectively. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with multiple codes & standards. Skills Proven experience in manufacturing site environments with a strong understanding of safety practices. Proficiency in
MIG & TIG
welding techniques. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge including the use of calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills for precise measurements. Experience with fabrication processes including machining, forming and operating press brake machines is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project specifications. Strong skills in assembly tasks related to manufacturing processes. Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe material handling during welding operations.
