What You'll Be Doing As a Welder, you'll work from engineering drawings and customer specifications to fabricate, assemble, and weld custom bases and enclosures used in highly specialized manufacturing applications.

Responsibilities include:

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Gather materials and prepare components for assembly and welding. Perform MIG welding on structural steel, sheet metal, and fabricated assemblies. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

Install components such as:

Structural steel Brackets and hinges Doors and insulation Z-bars and lift lugs Flat and formed sheet metal Use cutting, grinding, and finishing tools to complete assemblies. Inspect welds and finished products for quality and accuracy. Repair or rework products as needed to meet customer specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. What We're Looking For Required Skills MIG welding experience. Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings. Experience working with structural steel and metal fabrication. Proficiency using grinders, hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Strong understanding of measurements, fractions, and basic shop math. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing or fabrication shop experience. Forklift experience. Experience with metal finishing, grinding, and assembly work.
