MIG & STICK
Welder Opening! $25/HR! (Hamilton, Ohio) Job Description Join our team as a Structural Welder, where you will have the opportunity to layout, fit, fabricate, and weld from engineered drawings. This role requires proficiency in MIG welding and the use of basic hand tools including tape measures and digital calipers. As a valued team member, you will demonstrate self-motivation and work independently with minimal supervision, while possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities Layout, fit, fabricate, and weld from engineered drawings. Perform MIG and stick welding on structural steel. Work on construction sites of production homes, installing steel beams and columns. Use power tools throughout the day. Collaborate with a certified crane operator to install beams. Read blueprints to perform fitting and fabrication of parts. Conduct welding with up to 1/2 inch welds. Grind and prep parts for welding. Use a tape measure to cut parts to size. Operate an overhead crane. Assist with cleaning the shop during downtime. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Ability to work from engineered drawings. Experience with fabrication and steel fabrication. Competence in using basic hand tools, including tape measures and digital calipers. Ability to lift 50lbs throughout the day. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with stick welding on structural steel. Ability to work safely in all weather conditions. Work Environment This is an outside role requiring work in all weather conditions with a lot of driving between job sites. The position involves working from 7am to 3pm, primarily on construction sites of production homes, using power tools and collaborating with a certified crane operator. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hamilton, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
