Job Title:
TIG/MIG Welder - Precision Fabrication Job Description We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled welder who takes pride in producing high-quality, precision welds and working from detailed engineering drawings. The position involves setup and operation of TIG welding equipment, orbital welding, weld procedure compliance, and fabrication of high-specification components in a custom manufacturing environment. If you are strong in TIG welding, blueprint reading, pipe welding, and quality-focused fabrication, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, including purge systems and precise control of current, voltage, and shielding gas parameters. Perform high-quality TIG welds on a variety of materials, thicknesses, and assemblies. Select proper filler metals and welding techniques based on material specifications and weld requirements. Set up and operate orbital welding equipment. Interpret complex blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and work instructions. Inspect finished weldments to ensure compliance with quality, dimensional, and customer requirements. Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve production challenges. Maintain a safe and organized work area while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with fabrication, fitting, and related shop tasks as needed. Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of TIG welding experience in a fabrication, custom manufacturing, or high-specification environment. Strong experience with stainless steel, pipe, tube, or sanitary welding applications. Experience with orbital welding and purge welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings. Proven ability to consistently produce high-quality cosmetic and structural welds. Experience performing weld inspections and working to ASME or similar industry standards. Pipe fitting, fabrication, and layout experience preferred. Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
