Job Title:
TIG Welder Job Description We are seeking experienced TIG Welders with a strong background in precision welding and high-spec environments. This position supports structural and aerospace welding projects, requiring a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict quality standards. If you take pride in clean welds, tight tolerances, and working on advanced materials—this is a great opportunity to join a team doing impactful, high-quality work. Responsibilities Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on structural and aerospace components. Weld on stainless steel, aluminum, and/or specialty alloys. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings. Maintain precision and consistency in weld quality. Work to tight tolerances and high cosmetic standards. Inspect finished welds to ensure compliance with specifications and codes. Support fabrication, fit-up, and assembly as needed. Follow all safety and quality procedures. Essential Skills 3+ years of TIG welding experience. Ability to pass a TIG weld test. Experience with structural or aerospace welding strongly preferred. Strong understanding of heat control, distortion control, and metallurgy basics. Ability to weld in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead). Comfortable using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to work from blueprints and welding specifications (WPS). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with MIG welding is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools. Mechanical aptitude. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
