Full-Time Shifts:
Multiple Shifts Pay Range:
$23 - $28 per hour A day in this role Your shift starts with a blueprint review. You study welding symbols, confirm materials, and plan your sequence so parts fit perfectly the first time. You tack, verify alignment and tolerances, then move confidently between MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored processes depending on the joint, position, and metal—carbon steel this hour, stainless or aluminum the next. Between passes, you measure, cut, and fit with precision, keeping the workstation clean and compliant with OSHA and company safety standards. Before moving a job to the next stage, you inspect every weld for appearance and soundness, troubleshoot any issues, and collaborate with teammates to keep production on schedule. What you'll handle Interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and specified procedures. Execute high-quality welds (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored) on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, components, and equipment. Measure, cut, and fit materials using appropriate tools and techniques. Verify weld quality and dimensional accuracy against project specifications. Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with OSHA and company policies. Assist with layout and fit-up to achieve proper alignment and tight tolerances. Troubleshoot welding and fabrication challenges as they arise. Work closely with teammates and supervisors to hit production deadlines. What helps you succeed High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or welding certification preferred. Proven shop-based welding and fabrication experience. Proficiency with MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux-Cored processes. Ability to read blueprints, recognize welding symbols, and follow fabrication drawings. Solid understanding of metal properties, cutting methods, and fabrication techniques. Hands-on experience with industrial fabrication tools, measuring equipment, and welding machinery. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for fabrication environments. Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varied positions. Core strengths Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to quality. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Comfort working independently and collaboratively. Clear communication and effective time management. Work environment Active fabrication shop with exposure to noise, heat, and metal particulates.
