MIG/GMAW
equipment to fuse steel, carbon plate, or structural metals according to technical blueprints. Adjust voltage, amperage, wire feed speeds, and shielding gas flow rates for optimal weld pools. Inspect completed welds for cracks, porosity, or structural flaws, and clean/maintain welding gear. Requirements High school diploma or GED plus 1 to 2 years of professional
MIG/GMAW
welding experience. Ability to read technical drawings, interpret welding symbols, and pass practical position weld tests. Capacity to stand for long periods, wear safety gear, and lift heavy materials up to 50-75 lbs.
