About Baron USA We are an original equipment manufacturer building machines by customer orders. Our equipment is engineered in house and then built by our shop from the ground up. Baron USA has been located in the same Cookeville building since 1975, and we are looking to grow our work force to keep up with an ever growing equipment demand. Position A welder prepares and fabricates a variety of parts for the assembly or sub-assembly of a fluid purification system. Skills/ Qualifications Completion of vocational school training and 1-2 years of experience are desired, but not needed if a weld test can be passed. Applicants with knowledge of MIG and TIG processes will be given preference. Experience in aluminum welding preferred. A passion to continuously learn is necessary. General Duties Acquire various components described on the assembly/welding drawing Determine the welding procedure required by the drawing Utilize the drawings to determine hole locations, brackets, and other requirements for mounting parts Burn or drill holes, cut notches, and assemble parts Use required equipment to weld assembly according to the dimensions and welding procedure requirements Visually inspect each weld for imperfections Compare questionable welds to the
