Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and self motivated multi-craft welder/fabricator/industrial maintenance hand to join our team. Most of our clients are industrials plants etc. This is a hands-on position for someone who can work independently and confidently handle welding, fabrication, mechanical work, installation, and industrial maintenance. You will be working at our shop, on local job sites, at industrial plants, and other facilities doing installs and onsite welding. We do a wide variety of projects and jobs so each day is different with new opportunities for growth and knowledge. Responsibilities Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal components in accordance with blueprints and schematics Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly processes Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural elements Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and other components at local plants and factories. Operate rigging gear and forklifts safely for material handling and installation tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, tape measure, and basic math skills to meet specifications Assist with mechanical repairs, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly tasks as needed to support ongoing projects Follow safety protocols adhering to ASME codes & standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment each day. Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA standards. Required to lead a 2 or 3 member team through a job start to finish. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety practices in industrial settings Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), plasma cutting. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and plasma cutters Knowledge of rigging procedures, forklift operation certification preferred Mechanical aptitude with experience in fabrication, assembly, ductwork installation, pipe threading, and soldering Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform quality work each day Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs and job productivity Valid drivers license Team leader experience Drug free Minimum of 5 years on the job experience Reliable transportation to work and the job Must pass hands-on weld test prior to employment Pay is adjusted depending on experience and what you have to offer the company.
