Welder Job Description Join a dynamic team where you will utilize your MIG welding skills to weld steel components based on detailed blueprints and/or drawings. This role requires the ability to accurately read and interpret these documents to meet specific welding requirements. Responsibilities MIG weld steel components according to blueprints and/or drawings. Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine specific welding requirements. Essential Skills Proficient in MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Experience with welding steel components. 1.5 - 3 years of experience in MIG welding. Work Environment Work in a collaborative shop environment with approximately 15 welders. Choose between 1st shift hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 2nd shift hours from 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm. The team values safety, providing essential protective gear to ensure a secure working environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
