Job Description
MIG WELDER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking several MIG Welders for a Fabrication facility in Jasper, TN. In this role, you will be working in a Production environment and a metal fabrication plant. This position is full-time temp orary to hire. Pay Rate 1 st shift: $18.00 per hour 2 nd shift: $18.50 per hour Schedule and Hours 1 st shift: 6:00am- 2:30pm Monday
- Friday 2 nd shift: 2:30pm
- 1:00am Monday
- Friday MIG Welder Duties & Responsibilities
- Read material prints and verify measurement of parts
- Perform quality inspections
- Grinding when needed
- Maintain production rate
- Operate the crane for heavy lifting MIG Welder Qualifications and Requirements
- Read tape measure to 1/32 (tape measure test will be presented)
- Read blueprints
- Weld aluminum (preferred, not required)
- Previous experience in a steel production welding environment
- Regularly lift 50 pounds (in office assessment will be conducted)
