Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts Job Description We are looking for a dependable and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Jasper, TN. This position involves fabrication and welding of industrial equipment, structural steel, platforms, conveyors, and other custom-fabricated components. Most of our work is carbon steel, with occasional stainless steel and aluminum projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work efficiently with limited supervision, and understands the importance of producing quality work the first time. Responsibilities MIG weld and fabricate carbon steel components and assemblies Fit and assemble parts according to drawings and specifications Read and understand fabrication drawings and shop prints Accurately read a tape measure and perform basic shop math Cut, grind, drill, fit, and prepare material for fabrication Inspect your own work for proper fit, dimensions, and weld quality Safely operate common fabrication and welding equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with field installation and industrial work when required Follow company safety and quality procedures
Qualifications Preferred:
Previous welding and/or metal fabrication experience MIG welding experience Ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints Ability to accurately read a tape measure Experience working with carbon steel Experience with TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding is a plus but is not required. Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum is also a plus. Field Work Some field work and travel may be required depending on the project. When traveling for company projects, travel time is paid and per diem is provided when applicable.
