Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine project requirements
• Fabricate and assemble metal components based on specifications
• Use various tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and welding machines to shape and cut metal
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials within the work area
• Adhere to safety protocols and follow building codes and industry standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

Skills:

• Proficient in metal fabrication techniques including cutting, welding, and shaping
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards for metal fabrication
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
