We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with welding, metal fabrication, reading blueprints, and using various shop tools and equipment. This position requires strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment. Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on various metals and materials. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and welding symbols. Cut, fit, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication tools. Measure and inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality. Perform grinding, finishing, and other preparation work as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Identify and report quality issues, equipment problems, or material defects. Work independently as well as with other members of the fabrication team. Complete projects within established quality and production requirements. Qualifications Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication preferred. Ability to read and understand shop drawings and blueprints. Experience with MIG welding required; TIG and/or Stick experience is a plus. Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels. Familiarity with common fabrication equipment and hand/power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift, move, and position materials safely. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Welding certifications are a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required. Ability to work around heat, sparks, fumes, and industrial equipment while using appropriate PPE. Preferred Skills Experience working with structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Ability to perform layout and fit-up work. Experience with custom fabrication or production welding. Familiarity with CNC plasma/laser cutting equipment is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues.
