The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in welding and fabrication , with the ability to read blueprints and utilize various tools and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. The Fabricator/Welder will work in our shop, fabricating handrails, stairs, columns and beams according to specifications. Duties Work independently or with a small team to fabricate beams, columns, handrails, and stairs based on blueprints and project specifications. Utilize GMAW to assemble and join metal parts. Measure using a tape measure and cut materials using a bandsaw, angle grinder or oxy/fuel torch. Ensure precise fit and finish of fabricated parts. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations. Requirements 5+ years of proven experience in welding and fabrication. "Go-getter" attitude Proficiency in reading blueprints. Strong understanding of basic math concepts for accurate measurements and calculations. Familiarity with a forklift for moving heavy materials safely. Ability to operate various power tools effectively and safely. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. A valid welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.
