Be prepared to perform a welding/fabrication test. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Fitter/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and installing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in welding, blueprint reading, and mechanical fabrication will ensure that projects meet quality standards and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction and manufacturing projects, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to bring designs to life. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our team's success. Responsibilities Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble components Perform various welding techniques including
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <
LOCATION
> welding to join metal parts securely Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and sheet metal equipment to shape and manipulate materials Read calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication dimensions Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks Execute pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and mechanical assembly in accordance with ASME codes & standards Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and assembly of complex structures Qualifications Proven experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments as a fitter or fabricator Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, <
LOCATION
> welding, and plasma cutting techniques Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and machining equipment effectively Familiarity with rigging operations, pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly processes Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to fabrication and welding practices Valid certification or experience in crane operation and forklift driving is preferred but not mandatory Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork Join us in delivering high-quality fabrication solutions that meet the highest standards!
