Joest Inc. (www.joest-us.com) is a global leader in the design and manufacture of vibratory, thermal processing and air separation equipment for the scrap, recycling, mining, aggregate, steel, foundry, plastics, dry chemical and food industries in the US, Canada, and Mexico. We recently merged with Goessling, which designs and manufactures hinge belt conveyors, magnetic conveyors and parts processing centrifuges for our stamping, fastener, and forging customers. The Job:
We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator with a solid background in welding and fabrication to support our custom manufacturing of industrial conveyor and vibratory equipment systems. The ideal candidate should be a creative team player with a passion for safety, quality, and productivity. Other responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, electromechanical assembly, general shop and housekeeping tasks. Potential for domestic and international travel for installation/servicing of our products on customer sites. Note- This is not a pipe/pipe-fitter job.
Needed Skills:
Minimum (5) years MIG/TIG welding experience required. Experience in welding mild steel, stainless steel, hardened material, and aluminum are required. Must demonstrate functional understanding of blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and tolerances. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to perform various tasks. Ability to identify design issues. Current and valid welding certs a plus. Valid driver's license required. Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
