Welder Job Description We are seeking skilled welders to join our team, focusing on Tig welding for stainless steel pipes and rails. You will have the opportunity to work on both standard and customized pool rails, ensuring quality and precision in every task. Responsibilities Perform Tig welding on stainless steel pipes and rails. Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and welding. Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all welding tasks. Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Essential Skills Proficient in Tig welding on stainless steel. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in welding fabrication. Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Flux Core welding experience is a plus. Previous experience with stainless steel and MIG welding. Work Environment Work in a hot, heavy industrial environment that can reach temperatures up to 108 degrees. To ensure comfort, we provide water stations and a slushie machine in the break room. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
