Welder Job Description This position involves building and refurbishing oilfield equipment, such as control belts and dual belts, by welding flux on stainless and carbon steel. Responsibilities Perform flux core welding on stainless and carbon steel. Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication and structural welding. Grind materials as part of the preparation and finishing process. Essential Skills 2-3 years of experience in structural welding. Proficiency in flux core welding on stainless and carbon steel. Ability to read and work from blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in MIG welding is beneficial. Why Work Here? Fans provide air circulation. Most employees are travel welders who rent long-term apartments in Early, TX, and the position offers per diem compensation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Early, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
