Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Orbital Welder to join our team in Austin, Texas. The candidate will be performing high-quality orbital and precision welding on commercial piping systems, tubing and related components. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret welding drawings and specifications, and a commitment to producing consistent, code-compliant welds while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Perform precision GTAW (TIG) orbital welding on stainless steel, carbon steel and other applicable materials.
Prepare, fit, align, clean and inspect pipe and tube prior to welding.
Follow welding procedures, weld maps, drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
Ability to read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, weld maps and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Familiar with ASME, AWS, or other applicable welding standards.

Familiar with ASME, AWS, or other applicable welding standards.
