Flux Core Welder Location:

Full-Time Responsibilities Perform welding, assembly, and fabrication on large-scale structures and assemblies. Perform MIG (GMAW) welding . Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and weld symbols. Communicate effectively with management, supervisors, and engineering staff. Modify, repair, assemble, and install large-scale equipment and components. Inspect completed work after each operation to ensure it meets drawing specifications. Operate general shop equipment, including forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. Set up and maintain welding equipment. Follow all applicable safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and weld symbols. Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts. Ability to weld in all positions and successfully pass an FCAW weld test. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with MIG (GMAW) welding . Proficiency with power tools, including drills, saws, and pneumatic die grinders. Basic rigging skills. OSHA certification. Welding certifications. Experience with GMAW, GTAW, stainless steel, and hardfacing. Familiarity with various metal types and material thicknesses. Ability to work in confined spaces and/or at elevated heights. Additional Requirements Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted. Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces. Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed. Ability to work outdoors in heavy construction areas. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

$30.00 - $37.00 per hour
