Structural Fitter and Welder
Job Description
Overview Regal Staffing is hiring experienced Structural Welders and Structural Fitters for a growing manufacturing operation in Brookshire, TX. These positions will support the fabrication and assembly of large structural components used in highway and infrastructure projects. We are seeking dependable candidates who can read fabrication drawings, work safely in an industrial environment, and consistently produce quality work. Candidates may be considered for Level II or Level III positions based on their experience and demonstrated skill level.
Available Positions and Pay Welder II:
$19.00
•21.00 per hour
Welder III:
$22.00
•25.00 per hour
Structural Fitter II:
$19.00
•21.00 per hour
Structural Fitter III:
$22.00
•28.00 per hour Night-shift differential: Additional $2.00
•3.00 per hour Welder Responsibilities Perform structural welding according to drawings, specifications, and production requirements Prepare, position, align, and weld metal components Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and defects Use grinders and other fabrication tools to prepare and finish materials Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment Meet production and quality expectations Structural Fitter Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans Measure, lay out, position, align, and fit structural steel components Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and proper placement Tack weld or secure components before final welding Inspect fitted assemblies for accuracy and quality Work closely with welders and production team members Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures Qualifications Previous structural welding or fitting experience Ability to read a tape measure and use common fabrication tools Ability to read blueprints or fabrication drawings Knowledge of welding symbols is preferred Ability to accurately measure, align, and position components Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and transportation to Brookshire Willingness to work day or night shift, depending on availability Candidates must be able to complete any required skills evaluation or weld test

$19.00
•$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0
•60.0 per week
