Job Description

WELDER/FABRICATOR
Monday - Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM $24.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform MIG welding (primarily pulse MIG) on a variety of metal components Utilize Flux Core welding techniques as needed Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other tools Fabricate and assemble parts according to specifications and quality standards Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, fitting, cleaning, and tacking Set up and troubleshoot welding equipment and fixtures Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials Maintain production flow and complete required documentation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 years of welding/fabrication experience Proficiency in MIG welding (pulse MIG preferred) and Flux Core TIG welding experience is a plus, but not required Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and use measuring devices accurately Strong basic math skills, including fractions and decimal conversions Must pass a weld test and interview process Must provide own welding hood, gloves, and steel-toe safety shoes High School Diploma or GED preferred (relevant experience considered in place of education) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment AWS certification preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
