Responsibilities:

Fabricate, weld, and repair oilfield equipment

Primary Duties:

Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances Work from drawings, blueprints, verbal instructions, and other Flag time worked and write stories Clean and maintain welding equipment Adhere to safety procedures Formal technical training degree, certificate or diploma preferred or equivalent work experience Must have experience with fabrication and welding on both metal and aluminum Must be able to handle heavy materials manually and with machinery Must have general tools to perform minor mechanical duties Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to read and interpret shop repair order forms, repair manuals, blueprints, and various other technical bulletins Ability to use computer keyboard and Windows basics Ability to work in an environment with frequent exposure to outside weather elements Ability to work 8 - 10 hour days, including overtime hours as needed Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk and sit on a regular basis with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
