Welder Job Summary:
As a Welder you will be responsible for a variety of welding tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures, machinery, and components. Utilizing various welding techniques, you will work with precision and accuracy to ensure the highest quality welds. Your expertise will be essential in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to execute welding projects with efficiency. Safety is paramount, and you will strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIC, ARC) to weld metal components as per engineering specification. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and machinery with precision and accuracy. Inspect welds for quality and compliance with industry standards. Conduct welding equipment maintenance and repairs as needed. Always follow strict safety guidelines and protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure project success and timely completion. Prepare materials and handle heavy metal components for welding tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area for efficient operations. Essential Skills & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in various welding techniques. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications for welding projects. Skilled in fabricating and assembling metal structures with precision. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and practices in welding. Capable of conducting weld inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with colleagues.
Safety & Environmental Factors:
All employees are expected to adhere to the company's safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Pay:
$22 - $24/hr Per Diem - $130/day
