Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welding tasks across various projects, ensuring all work meets safety standards and technical specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the successful assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems, sprinkler systems, and structural components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your welding skills in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict safety protocols and construction plans. 3pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday Welding experience Responsibilities Perform MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and pipe welding with precision on diverse materials and projects. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate fabrication and installation. Execute pipe threading, pipe fitting, pipe installation, and sprinkler system assembly in accordance with NFPA standards and safety regulations. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, grinding, soldering, and assembling components. Maintain compliance with safety protocols during all phases of welding, fabrication, and construction site activities. Conduct routine inspections of welds and fabricated components to ensure quality standards are met. Assist with maintenance tasks related to piping systems, fire sprinkler fitting, and general construction site operations. Experience Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, and pipe welding in construction or fabrication environments. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans. Mechanical knowledge related to pipefitting, pipe threading, soldering, assembly, and maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with power tools and hand tools used in welding and fabrication tasks. Familiarity with safety regulations such as NFPA standards for fire sprinkler systems and general construction site safety protocols. Prior work on construction sites involving pipe installation, sprinkler systems, or structural fabrication is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
