Express Employment Professionals is seeking a MIG Welder to join a local company in the Elkhart, TX area.

Responsibilities :

Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on structural steel components using .035 hardwire. Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Perform welds in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical) as required by the project. Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure quality and code compliance. Follow

structural welding code standards. Use grinders, clamps, and other tools to prepare and finish welded components. Work with a team to meet production deadlines and maintain safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Weld Test with .035 Hardwire (pre-employment). 2+ years MIG welding experience in a structural steel or industrial setting preferred. Familiarity with welding procedures, safety practices, and shop equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
