Shift:
4:00 PM
  • 2:30 AM or Weekend shift 4am to 4pm
  • Fri, Sat Sun (Will train on 1st shift in pole school then switch to 2nd or weekend shift after training.
Training can last 7 days to 8 weeks) Flux Core Welder

Wire Weld Test Givent:
2G Bend Test V/groove with a backing bar on a 1 inch plate Pay is based on your weld test! $22.00 to $26.00 Test consists of the following: 2G Bend test V groove with backing bar We are hiring experienced Fitter/Welders for a manufacturing opportunity. This position involves fitting, fabricating, and welding large steel components using blueprints and production specifications.
Job Duties:
Fit and weld steel components according to drawings and specifications Perform Flux Core (FCAW) welding Complete multi-pass and finish welds as required Measure, mark, cut, and position materials for fabrication Set up parts using fixtures, jigs, clamps, and other fabrication equipment Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Use measuring tools to verify proper fit and placement Inspect finished welds and fabricated components for quality Make adjustments or repairs when needed Perform basic upkeep of welding equipment and work areas Follow established safety and quality procedures Complete required production documentation Assist with other fabrication duties as needed
Requirements:
At least 1 year of welding or fabrication experience Flux Core welding experience strongly preferred Must be able to pass a 2G FCAW weld test on 1-inch plate, including a bend test Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings Experience fitting and welding structural or heavy steel is a plus Comfortable using measuring tools and fabrication equipment Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a production team Strong attention to safety and quality This is a hands-on welding position for candidates who are comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment. #DFWA #ZRFW
