Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Welders for local companies in Greenville, Sulphur Springs, and Paris Texas! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services! We have multiple job opportunities available! In this role, you will: Perform MIG, TIG, and structural welding on a variety of materials and components. Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and work instructions. Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts according to specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy. Perform visual quality control inspections and identify weld defects or inconsistencies. Grind, clean, and finish welded assemblies as needed. Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels to ensure precise fabrication. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards. We like to hear from candidates with the following: Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or structural welding. Fabrication and metal fitting experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Experience performing weld quality inspections and identifying defects. Ability to safely operate welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment. Knowledge of welding safety practices and proper PPE. Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to pass a weld test! !
