Job Summary The welder will fit, join, fabricate, and repair steel components using appropriate welding techniques based on product specifications, engineering drawings, and production requirements. Consistently producing quality welds capable of passing ultrasonic inspection is an important part of this role. Pay $22.00
  • $26.75 per hour Retention Bonus Eligible welder new hires may earn up to $5,000 through a retention bonus program, subject to program requirements. Shift Monday
  • Friday 5:00 P.M.
  • 3:30 A.
M. Saturdays as needed Duties Weld steel components according to engineering drawings, layouts, work orders, and specifications Perform flat and horizontal welding Set up and lay out work using fixtures, jigs, and hand layouts Work with fitters during fabrication of multi-component assemblies Inspect welds and correct defects as needed Use torches, grinders, air arc equipment, hoists, forklifts, and related fabrication tools Maintain quality welds capable of passing UT inspection Follow production, quality, housekeeping, and safety standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED 1-2 years of welding experience required Overhead and jib crane experience Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, diagrams, and work instructions Experience with flux-core and metal-core wire Ability to use welding fillet gauges, temperature sticks, torches, and air arc equipment Must successfully complete required weld testing Ability to frequently lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment and additional hours as needed Job Type Direct Hire | Full-Time Questions?
