Southaven, Mississippi ๐ฐ $30.00 - $60.00/Hour + 7 Days Per Diem ๐จ Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Join a Major Industrial Construction Project Are you a skilled Pipe Welder looking for your next high-profile industrial project? We're seeking experienced TIG and Combo Pipe Welders to join a large-scale construction project involving high-pressure stainless and carbon steel piping systems. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your welding expertise, work alongside top-tier pipefitters and craftsmen, and earn competitive pay with per diem available for qualified travelers. If you're confident in your ability to weld to specification, read ISO drawings, and pass a weld test, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing As a Pipe Welder, you'll play a critical role in the installation and construction of high-pressure piping systems by: Performing TIG and/or Combo welding on stainless and carbon steel pipe Reading and interpreting isometric drawings, weld symbols, and specifications Fitting, tacking, welding, grinding, and preparing pipe for inspection and testing Welding Schedule 10 stainless steel and heavier wall pipe Working on high-pressure gas and water piping systems Collaborating with pipefitters to install and align piping systems Performing hydrostatic, air, and leak testing Maintaining weld quality that meets project and industry standards Following all site safety requirements, including: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Hot Work Permits Fire Watch Procedures PPE Requirements Required Experience Proven experience as a Pipe Welder (not structural welding only) Strong TIG welding experience on stainless steel pipe Combo welding experience preferred Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe Ability to read and interpret ISO drawings and weld symbols Experience working in industrial environments such as: Refineries Chemical Plants Power Plants Process Facilities Large Mechanical Construction Projects Experience with high-pressure gas and water piping systems Strong understanding of fit-up, weld preparation, and testing requirements Preferred Qualifications 6G Pipe Welding Experience AWS Pipe Certifications Ability to pass site weld tests Experience with Schedule 10 Stainless and heavier wall piping Hydrotesting and leak-testing experience Strong commitment to safety and quality Why You'll Want This Opportunity ๐ฅ

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
