Production TIG WelderJob Summary We're seeking an experienced Production TIG Welder to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has strong TIG and MIG welding skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality welds while meeting daily production goals. Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and galvanized materials is required. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG and MIG welding on production parts and assemblies; Flux-Cored welding is a plus. Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and standardized work instructions. Set up and operate welding equipment according to specified parameters. Load and position parts using fixtures and jigs. Inspect welds for quality, penetration, appearance, and consistency. Grind, clean, and finish welds as needed. Meet daily production and quality standards. Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to supervisors. Perform basic equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, organized workstation. Complete production documentation as required. What We're Looking For 1+ year of production welding experience. TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment required. MIG and TIG welding proficiency required. Ability to read basic blueprints and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail and consistent workmanship. Ability to work efficiently in a repetitive, fast-paced production environment. Ability to meet production goals and deadlines. Basic mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination. Welding certification is preferred but not required. Experience with gauges and measuring tools is a plus. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Bilingual required Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand for extended periods; 8-12 hour shifts may be required. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing 50-75 lbs. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Comfortable working around heat, sparks, noise, and welding fumes. Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods. Safety Responsibilities Wear all required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, fire-resistant clothing, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Follow proper ventilation and fume-extraction procedures. Safely handle compressed gas cylinders and welding materials. Follow lockout/tagout procedures when servicing equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Immediately report unsafe conditions, injuries, or incidents.
