Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, primarily utilizing MIG spray transfer welding techniques. This role requires the ability to understand technical and shop drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly of steel components. The Welder will play a vital part in delivering excellent products in a fast-paced environment for a metal building manufacturer. Duties Perform MIG spray transfer welding with accuracy and consistency to meet project standards. Read and interpret detailed technical and shop drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements. Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and positioning parts for welding operations. Set up welding equipment according to specifications and ensure proper calibration before use. Execute welds on various metal components, ensuring strong, durable, and defect-free joints. Inspect completed welds visually and with appropriate testing methods to verify quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize welding processes and improve efficiency. Experience Experience using various welding techniques. MIG welding, specifically spray transfer, is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings accurately. Prior experience working in manufacturing or fabrication environments is preferred. Knowledge of safety standards related to welding operations. Ability to operate various welding equipment and tools. Attention to detail with a focus on consistently producing high-quality welds.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
