WELDER / FABRICATOR VALVE AUTOMATION

Job Description

Mueller Manufacturing - Richwood, TX Mueller Manufacturing is a growing machine and fabrication shop in Richwood, TX. We specialize in valve automation hardware, level bridles, piping spools, ASME pressure vessels, and specialty instrument brackets , primarily working with carbon steel and stainless steel. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team player to join our fabrication department. This is a shop-only position — no field work. We provide a consistent 40-hour work week with opportunities for overtime as available. What You'll Do Fabricate and weld valve automation brackets, spools, and related components Fit and weld your own work from assembly drawings Perform FCAW (flux core) welding on carbon and stainless steel Read and understand simple fabrication/assembly drawings Measure, fit, tack, weld, and inspect your own work Maintain good weld quality and workmanship Work safely and efficiently as part of a team Keep your work area clean and organized Requirements Must be able to pass a 1G plate FCAW (flux core) test Ability to read basic assembly/fabrication drawings Ability to independently fit and fabricate your own work Welding and fabrication experience preferred Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Must be able to work well with others and take pride in your work Preferred Skills MIG welding experience TIG welding experience Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel Previous pipe or structural fabrication experience What We Offer Guaranteed 40 hours per week Shop-only work — no field work Stable work with an established manufacturing company Team-oriented work environment Opportunities for overtime when available If you're a dependable welder/fabricator who can take a drawing, fit your own work, and produce quality welds, we want to talk to you.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
