Mueller Manufacturing - Richwood, TX Mueller Manufacturing is a machine and fabrication shop in Richwood, TX specializing in ASME pressure vessels, level bridles, piping spools, valve automation hardware, and specialty instrument brackets . We primarily fabricate with carbon steel and stainless steel. We are looking for an experienced pipe welder/fabricator to join our pressure fabrication team. This position involves welding pressure-containing components , including level bridles, vessel components, and piping assemblies. This is a shop-only position — no field work. We offer a consistent 40-hour work week with overtime opportunities as available. What You'll Do TIG (primarily), MIG, and flux core weld pipe and pressure-containing components Our products include: level bridles, ASME pressure vessels, piping, specialty brackets Straighten and correct your own work to meet dimensional and level requirements Maintain consistent weld quality and strong weld aesthetics Work with carbon steel and stainless steel Follow welding procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards Work independently while contributing to a team-oriented shop Required Skills Must be able to pass a 6G pipe TIG test Must be able to pass a 1G plate FCAW (flux core) test Must be able to pass a 1G plate MIG test Strong pipe TIG welding ability Ability to straighten welded assemblies and correct distortion Good understanding of weld appearance, penetration, and consistency Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Must be a dependable team player Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who takes pride in their welds and their finished product . You should be comfortable working with minimal supervision, catching problems before they become rework, and producing consistent, high-quality welds. Experience with ASME pressure vessels, level bridles, piping, pressure-containing components, or stainless steel fabrication is highly preferred.
