Support semiconductor tool hook-up and facility expansion projects involving the installation of high-purity process piping, process gas, chemical distribution, ultrapure water (UPW), and cleanroom utility systems. This position supports mission-critical infrastructure within an advanced manufacturing environment operating under aggressive project schedules and demanding quality standards.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Orbital Welder with extensive experience welding high-purity stainless-steel tubing for mission-critical process systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or food processing facilities, with expertise in orbital welding, purge practices, weld traceability, and quality documentation.

Candidates must possess the technical ability to consistently produce precision welds that meet stringent quality requirements on high-purity stainless-steel systems in cleanroom environments. This position requires strict adherence to welding procedures, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities Perform orbital welding of high-purity stainless-steel tubing and piping systems.

Set up, program, troubleshoot, and maintain orbital welding equipment.

Perform weld head setup, purge verification, and weld parameter adjustments.

Read and interpret weld maps, isometric drawings, and fabrication documents.

Verify weld quality and maintain compliance with project and customer specifications.

Maintain weld traceability documentation, weld logs, quality records, and material heat number documentation.

Produce welds in accordance with Samsung project specifications, welding procedures, and quality standards.

Support and successfully pass daily quality control inspections, weld audits, and turnover documentation reviews.

Ensure all welds, materials, heat numbers, and quality records are accurately documented and traceable throughout installation and turnover.

Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to safely performing all assigned duties and responsibilities in support of project success.
