Project Information

Support semiconductor tool hook-up and facility expansion activities involving high-purity process piping, process gas, chemical distribution, ultra pure water (UPW), and clean room mechanical systems. This position supports mission-critical infrastructure within an advanced manufacturing environment operating under aggressive project schedules and demanding quality standards.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Stainless Steel Fabrication Welder with extensive experience performing manual GTAW (TIG) and autogenous welding on stainless-steel tubing and piping systems. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional fit-up and welding skills, with the ability to consistently produce high-quality welds for low-purity, high-purity, and mission-critical process systems.

Experience supporting advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or food processing facilities is highly desired. Candidates must demonstrate a strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to meet stringent quality and cleanliness requirements.

Responsibilities:

Perform manual GTAW (TIG) and autogenous welding on stainless-steel tubing, piping, and process system components.

Perform precision fit-up, alignment, and joint preparation of stainless-steel tubing and piping systems.

Read and interpret weld maps, isometric drawings, and fabrication documents.

Perform layout, cutting, grinding, polishing, and finishing of stainless-steel components.

Produce welds in accordance with Samsung project specifications, welding procedures, and quality standards.

Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards throughout welding operations.

Support shop and field installation activities as required.

Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to safely performing all assigned duties and responsibilities in support of project success.
