Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic welding tasks on various steel materials under supervision (MIG and Flux welding) Set up and operate welding equipment according to instructions Read and follow basic diagrams, work instructions, and weld symbols Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and defects Assist with grinding, cutting, and finishing welded parts as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Welding certification or vocational training is a plus but not required Basic knowledge of welding processes and tools preferred Willingness to learn and take direction Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, and reaching Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/industrial setting Exposure to heat, sparks, noise, and metal materials
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
