Seeking an experienced Welder with a background in structural steel fabrication. Responsible for welding and assembling steel components while following blueprints, shop drawings, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on structural steel.
Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
Fit, align, and position materials before welding.
Inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
Operate welding machines, grinders, and hand tools safely.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Meet production and quality standards.
Qualifications:
2+ years of structural steel welding experience.
Experience with MIG and Stick welding.
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
Knowledge of welding safety and AWS standards.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
