Flux Core Welder- Schertz, TX 78154
Pay:
$21.64/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30
PM Additional Hours:
Some required 8-hour Fridays and Saturdays Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Flux Core Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabrication skills, be able to read blueprints, and have experience fitting and welding metal components to meet quality and production standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Fit, position, align, and secure metal parts prior to welding. Perform flux core welding and other welding processes as required by project needs. Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding. Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication equipment safely. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines. Maintain consistent attention to detail and quality throughout the fabrication process. Qualifications 1-3 years of previous experience as a Welder/Fitter, preferably with flux core welding experience. Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication. Ability to read and understand blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings. Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum. Proficient with measuring tools and fabrication equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Ability to work overtime, including some Fridays and Saturdays, as required.
Schedule & Pay Monday-Thursday:
6:00 AM-4:30
PM Some Fridays:
Required 8-hour shifts
Some Saturdays:
Required as needed
