Job Description

American Energy Innovations is a pioneering design, engineering, and assembly firm for machinery and equipment used in the Oil & Gas industry. Our innovative technology provides software and mechanical solutions that increase fueling efficiency for hydraulic fracturing and allows for an increased efficiency in communication. We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Springtown, TX. This position is in a "Job Shop" environment and requires proficient knowledge of structural and pipe fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficiency in
GMAW & FCAW
processes (welding test required), AWS
D1.1, D1.2, ASME
  • Occasional SMAW welding
  • Sufficient experience with fabrication equipment (bandsaws, grinders, ironworkers, welding machines, plasma cutter, etc.)
  • Handle sheet metal for cutting, welding, and assembling
  • Use overhead crane to position and move steel and equipment
  • Knowledge of fitting & layout
  • Ability to perform work efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to work well with others and perform timely work with little supervision
  • Ability to regularly perform physical tasks and stand for hours at a time
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test at time of hire Skills possessed by the ideal candidate for this role:
  • Proficiency in
GMAW & FCAW
welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and blueprints
  • Competency in using measuring and fabrication equipment
  • Experience working in structural fabrication and pipe shops is a plus
  • Ability to assemble metal components accurately The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 6 pm, 50 hours a week, in Springtown, TX.
This position will be paid hourly, $20/hour-$30/hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits will be available after 60 days of employment (medical, dental, vision, and life) and a 401k after a year of service with a 4% company match.
