Job Description

Welders are responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding to ensure the quality production of Trailers and/or Parts.
Welder Responsibilities:
  • Welds according to all appropriate codes and procedures
  • Cutting, fitting, and use of appropriate tools
  • Ensures work order accuracy
  • Monitors quality of production using appropriate tools
  • Checks welding process to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of material
  • Always adheres to quality and safety standards
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with no issue
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Experience MIG Welding in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience MIG Welding Trailers and/or Trailer Parts is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Tools and Measuring Equipment such as Tape Measure and Speed Square
  • Proficient in the use of power tools such as an angle grinder or die grinder
  • Ability to multi-task in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to Work well in a Team oriented environment or individually Work schedule general hours are 6am-3pm M-Thurs and 6am-12pm on Friday.
Due to production demands, staffing shortages, or business needs, employees may be required to work overtime. Refusal to work mandatory overtime without prior approval may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination. The company will strive to provide reasonable notice of required overtime. However, in urgent or emergency situations, immediate overtime may be necessary without prior notice.
