Responsible for performing MIG and/or TIG welding on structural steel components and custom metal parts. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. Job Duties (Include but not limited to) Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of metal components Interpret and work from blueprints, welding symbols, and schematics Fit and assemble metal parts using measuring tools and fabrication techniques Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet specifications and tolerances Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Maintain welding equipment and work area in good condition Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Production Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1-2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with MIG welding (TIG and Stick a plus) Familiarity with metal fabrication and welding standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Must own a welding hood and steel-toe boots Must pass a welding test and pre-employment screening Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Forklift certification is a plus Experience with structural steel or custom fabrication #WACO1
