Job Summary:

TIG Welder / Fitter We are seeking an experienced TIG welder to join Titan Metal Fabricators in Waller, TX. Our ideal candidate will have experience TIG welding stainless steel, titanium and/ or zirconium, as well as experience with various grinding tools. You should also be able to read blueprints and technical schematics. Safety and Quality of our products are paramount to us. We expect our team members to have attention to detail and comply with our safety practices to ensure the quality of each weld and the safety of the workplace. Reporting organizationally to the Shop Supervisor, the candidate will join the Production Department in the fabrication of heat exchangers, pressure vessels, piping systems, and other custom static equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality TIG welding Fit and weld pipe, flanges, fittings, and fabricated components Measure, cut, fit, and prepare material for welding Read and understand fabrication drawings and weld symbols Maintain proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensions Grind and prepare weld joints as needed Inspect work for quality before submitting to QC Follow shop safety and quality procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area

Strong

TIG/GTAW

welding skills Experience fitting and welding pipe Good fabrication and fit-up skills Ability to read fabrication drawings Ability to accurately use measuring and layout tools Ability to work independently with limited supervision Dependable and quality-focused

Education:

High school diploma or GED certificate Applicants will be required to complete a weld test and/or fit-up test.
